Meet the Tarzana Team Behind Servo Garage Doors Tarzana
We’re a small crew, and we like it that way. Every technician who pulls up to a home in Tarzana, Woodland Hills, Encino, or Sherman Oaks has worked on hundreds of doors in this exact climate, where late-summer heat expands metal tracks and January nights snap aging torsion springs. No subcontractors, no rotating cast of strangers. The person who answers your call likely knows the technician by name, and the technician who arrives has a written scope and price before touching a single bolt. That’s how Servo has operated since 2015, and it’s not changing.
Our People
Marcus Deller, Owner & Lead Technician
Marcus founded Servo Garage Doors in 2015 after spending six years working for larger garage-door outfits across the San Fernando Valley, where he kept seeing the same pattern: a low phone quote, a surprise invoice, and a customer who never saw the failed part. He built Servo on the opposite premise. Clause 1 of The Haven Standard, the written flat price before any work starts, exists because Marcus got tired of explaining to homeowners why the bill was higher than the number they heard on the phone. He still runs service calls most days, and he has a habit of pointing out small issues before they become four-figure repairs. In Tarzana, he regularly sees springs that failed because a $40 bearing wore out six months earlier and nobody caught it. He’ll tell you that too, usually while handing you the photo record of what he found.
Daniel R., Senior Installer
Daniel has been with Servo since 2018 and handles most full door replacements across Tarzana and the surrounding Valley. He’s the one who notices headroom clearance issues before ordering a new Clopay or Amarr panel, and he’s spent enough time on uneven Valley garage floors to know when a bracket needs shimming rather than forcing. Daniel is certified on LiftMaster, Chamberlain, and Genie opener systems, and he keeps the install truck stocked with rail extensions, reinforced struts, and nylon rollers so a job doesn’t stall over a hardware-store run. Off the job, he restores old motorcycles, which is probably why his eye for alignment is what it is.
Sarah M., Service Coordinator
Sarah runs dispatch and scheduling from the Tarzana office, and she’s been with Servo since 2021. When you call at 2 a.m. with a door stuck halfway open and a car trapped inside, Sarah is often the first voice you hear. She matches each emergency call to the nearest technician, sends the on-the-way text with a name and ETA, and keeps the parts inventory organized so the truck actually has the right torsion spring, logic board, or trolley carriage when the tech arrives. Sarah lives in the west Valley and knows the side streets well enough to give directions that beat GPS. She’s also the one who makes sure every customer walks away with the written warranty and photo record, because she’s seen what happens when those slip through.
Alex T., Apprentice Technician
Alex joined the crew in 2023 under Marcus’s direct supervision, which means he does the work while learning why it’s done the Haven way. He shadows on spring replacements, track realignments, and opener diagnostics, and he’s already earned his Genie and LiftMaster service credentials. Alex handles a lot of the balance testing and photo documentation, so when a technician quotes a replacement limit switch, the customer sees the multimeter reading and the original part before agreeing to anything. He grew up in Reseda and has opinions about every taco stand on Sherman Way. Ask him which one is best and you’ll get a detailed breakdown while he torque-checks your hinges.
One Standard, Every Job

Across the nineteen cities this operation serves, there’s exactly one playbook. Clause 1: a flat, written price and written scope, delivered before any work begins. Clause 4: the technician photographs what they found and documents what they did, and the customer receives that record before the truck leaves. The 365-Day Done Right Promise isn’t a slogan on a van wrap. It’s a terms page with a process, and every team member above is accountable to it. Whether it’s Marcus on a Sunday spring replacement or Alex on his first solo balance test, the output is the same. You see the failed part. You approve the written number. You get the photo record. That consistency is the whole point of the standard, and it’s why the Tarzana crew doesn’t need to guess what “good” looks like on any given day.
